Animotion Media Group is expanding the journey of its preschool series Tina & Tony in Asia through a new agreement with Access Korea. The deal will make the animated adventure comedy available in English to young learners in South Korea on Wink, a subscription-based edtech and Korea’s No. 1 smart learning platform for children.
Unlike traditional OTT or AVOD kids’ content services, Wink is designed as a digital learning environment for early childhood and elementary education. Primarily serving children aged 3–8, the platform offers a curriculum covering Korean language, math, English, reading, creative thinking, preschool learning, and elementary education. The addition of Tina & Tony brings character-driven storytelling into this educational ecosystem, supporting learning through imagination, play, and emotional discovery.
The launch opens a new window for Korean families to discover the warm, imaginative world of Tina & Tony — a series built around friendship, curiosity, play, and the everyday discoveries of early childhood.
At the heart of the show are two best friends: Tony, a little hippo, and Tina, a little elephant. Together, they live in Cookie Village, a bright and cozy place where every day brings a new adventure. Their world is born from the imagination of children’s playrooms, where favorite toys come to life, ordinary objects become part of magical stories, and young viewers are invited to see the world through the logic of play.
While Tina & Tony speaks directly to preschoolers, its gentle humor and playful storytelling also make it enjoyable for parents watching alongside their children. The series turns familiar childhood situations into light, funny and meaningful stories, helping young audiences recognize emotions, solve small problems, build friendships, and understand the people around them.
Designed for preschoolers, dreamers and little inventors, Tina & Tony combines comedy, emotional learning and imaginative adventure. Each episode follows the characters as they try something new, make mistakes, learn from each other and find simple, positive ways forward.
“We are delighted to work with Access Korea to bring Tina & Tony to young learners and families in South Korea,” said Julia Nikolaeva, General Manager at Animotion Media Group. “The series has a universal emotional core, but it also fits naturally into a learning environment like Wink, where children are encouraged to explore, think creatively, build confidence and grow through discovery. Tina & Tony supports this journey by showing that learning can happen through friendship, imagination, play and everyday problem-solving.”
“We are excited to introduce Tina & Tony to children and families in South Korea through the Wink platform,” said SeungNam Baek, C.E.O. of Access Korea. “The series offers a bright, imaginative and emotionally warm world that fits well with the needs of preschool audiences. We believe its themes of friendship, creativity and learning through play will resonate with young viewers and their parents.”
For Animotion Media Group, the agreement reflects a broader strategy of growing its children’s brands through trusted regional partners and platforms that understand local audiences. South Korea remains an important and dynamic market for high-quality preschool and family content, and the arrival of Tina & Tony on Wink supports the company’s continued expansion across Asia.
