Animotion Media Launches Official Soundtracks for The Last Wardens Audio Drama
Set in a world where survival hangs by a thread and monsters haunt both the shadows and the psyche, The Last Wardens Audio Drama grips listeners with its raw intensity and emotionally charged storytelling. Now, the experience deepens with the release of six original musical volumes to complement the audio drama series and echo the fear, fury, and fight at the heart of the story.
Featuring the voice talents of Felicia Day (Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Supernatural, Eureka), Anjali Bhimani (Overwatch, Apex Legends), Mark Meer (Mass Effect Trilogy, Dragon Age Series), Ginny Di (YouTube sensation, singer, and cosplayer), Shiva Negar (American Assassin, Lost Journey), and Matthew Watterson (X-Men '97, Doom Eternal, Fallout 4), Encyclopocalypse Publications’ The Last Wardens Audio Drama tells the story of Danielle Pryer, a young woman drawn into a brutal, mysterious war between supernatural forces and a dysfunctional team of misfit guardians.
The score was composed by the multi-talented ALONZO aka Lon Strickland, whose previous composing work includes the 2008 cult horror film The Tower and the award winning short film Billy Kills The Internet in 2022. Lon also released two instrumental albums under the ALONZO brand in 2009 and 2018.
“This collaboration offered a rare opportunity to be part of a musical project that reflects horror, chaos, grief, and resilience, not just jump scares,” said Oleg Troyanovsky, Head of Music at Animotion Media. “Our goal was to complement the intimacy of the audio drama with music that deepen the listener’s emotional connection to the story.”
The first volume drops this July on the 25th, marking the beginning of a weekly rollout of the total of the 6 volumes, each including original tracks that invite fans to relive Danielle Pryer’s descent into darkness, now through music. With each volume of the audio drama taking readers into darker psychological territory, the soundtracks serve as a haunting companion, building dread, tension, and heartbreak through cinematic scores.
“We’ve always envisioned The Last Wardens Audio Drama as a multi-sensory, and multi-platform experience,” said Amit Tishler. “With Animotion’s help, we’re expanding that vision, bringing the horror, the emotion, and the stakes to life through sound.”
“With The Last Wardens, we set out to build a world that feels hauntingly real, and these soundtracks add a whole new layer of depth. They don’t just accompany the story, they amplify it.” added Elliot Sperl.
The Last Wardens original soundtracks act as sonic extensions of the audio drama, enhancing the tension and emotional arcs already haunting listeners
